Summer Camps FAQ

Q: My child is 11 can he come to camp?
A: Your child can come if he will be turning 12 this year.
Q: I want to bring 2 other children, can I get a discount?
A: We are giving a $25 discount for groups of 5 and $50 discounts for groups of ten. IF A CHILD LATER ON BACKS OUT OF THE COMMITMENT, THE DISCOUNT IS VOID, IF THE TOTAL NUMBER OF APPLICANTS IS UNDER 5. IF UNDER 10, YOU WILL THEN RECEIVE THE GROUP OF 5 DISCOUNT.
Q: Can my child attend back to back weeks?
A: Yes, however, he will need to return home for the weekend.
Q: If I don’t have a deposit, can I still register?
A: Yes, you may send in the application without a deposit but your child’s spot will not be secure without a $100 deposit.
Q: Is there transportation for my child?
A: Yes, there is a bus that will pick up children on Sundays at 12:30pm from (Manhattan Bible Church) 3816 9th Avenue, between 204th street and 205th street in Manhattan. And will make drop-offs on Friday at 2:30 pm at same location. $35 payment must be given to secure spot.
Q: How much do I have to pay if only want to use the bus up to the camp?
A: $35 pays for round trip, whether you desire to use it or not.
Q: How much money should my child bring?
A: $35 is recommended for snacks alone. Hoop Heaven Merchandise will also be sold at Hoop Heaven Store. (Bracelets, Hooded sweatshirts, t-shirts and more)
Q: Can my child room with a friend?
A: Yes, just please note the person your child desires to room with. However, please know that if your child and a friend have an 2 year age difference the likely-hood of them rooming together is slim. We do our best to room campers that are the same age.
Q: What about the union?
A: Ask your local/union how much they are willing to pay. If they want to ask us, we would like your union to pay full price. If the union is willing to anything under a $100, the $100 deposit is still necessary. The union will then cover the remaining balance. PLEASE, BE ON TOP OF YOUR UNION TO PAY REMAINING BALANCE 30 DAYS BEFORE SESSION…OTHERWISE, YOU WILL PAY.

Q: What should my child leave at home?
A: Please do not bring any discmans/cell phones or jewelry (girls, leave your earrings at home). CitiVision will not be held responsible for the loss of any items.
